Probably Murano-please help confirm

Crazy but true- To cut a long tale short. My husband stopped to give someone who had broken down a lift home. They got talking and hubby mentioned we collect glass. The grateful person of the broken down vehicle gave my husband these huge pieces as a thank you. The first is a bowl measuring a massive 15" diameter, 5.25" tall and weighs nearly 5kilos. The second a rather nice vase. Again a huge 11" tall and weighing nearly 5 kilos in green and lilac with large bubbles in it.

Hi

They could be Murano - I have however seen these shapes and colours more often on post war Czech glass. I have sold some in the past with a 'Bohemian Glass' or 'Made in Bohemia' oval shaped label on. The guy to ask for a factory or designer is Marcus our expert on Czech glass.

I don't think they're Murano, but it might be worth asking the people on the Murano board.
