Yes, it is a Murano lamp. My first impulse is Fratelli Toso, but there are others it could be. It is very lovely.

 OMG -- Love it!!!

To me has more of a Venetian look to it -- but that is only ME    ;D   Guessing........as the wavy bottom edge with the Flakes of Gold in it remind me of my edges of a Ruby Red Bowl I have -- that is all....

I agree with Anita.  I think your lamp is made by Fratelli Toso.  It looks like their style to me.  Good find!

Thank you for the help. I am thinking about maybe taking the lamp apart and looking for a signature on the bottom of the glass. Right now the lamp has a wood base but it looks as if it should not have a base. Also I ned to sell them and I think taking the lamp apart and just selling the glass would save in lots of shipping and the buyer could design their own lamp parts. Do you think this is a good idea? Thanks

It depends on how tall it is. I've sold a handful of lamps and just shipped them assembled. It cost $20-30 to ship the larger lamps (18-20"). Of course, I took the harp off.

Thanks Anita, I will take a close look at them and see how many inches it takes off if I remove the parts. Thanks again.

We can buy harps here at any of the stores like Home Depot, Lowes, or Wal-Mart. You probably have the same type stores there, Martin. The harps are usually in the lamp hardware section where the lampshades are sold. You can usually find the kits to replace the wiring there, too. The only thing you need to figure is how tall the harp needs to be. I made a mistake buying one that was too short one time and ended up with a most peculiar looking lamp.
