I have decided to treat myself to something which I really should not have bought...but since I have the flu and it has been a crap few weeks...i feel the need to show off...he he...it hasn't arrived yet but will post pics once it does... :rn:

What a stunning vase!

Sorry to hijack this thread, but perhaps some of you Murano / Poli experts can help me with a vase I have posted in the ID section some time ago, but without much success...
It has the same greenish-grey hue like Kane's new "toy" :), and is a quite substantial piece as well (I would guess a weight of almost 10kg):

Would 50ies/60ies Murano be the right direction for further research?

BTW, I was in Switzerland last week, and saw the very same vase as mine (only in a different colour -- dark green) in a high end antique shop specialized in midcentury design, sitting between several Poli pieces. Unfortunately the shop was closed, so I couldn't ask for further informations...
