Murano Bowl Info Needed

Bought this today at a yard sale( $4 ). Was wondering if it was real. Also, when it was made and possibly the maker. It is very thick( looks to be 4 layers or so )with a solid white base. About 6x4x2 inches. any info would be greatly appreciated. thnx for looking.

yes, it is real and the label says it is Venetian Glass.  I believe this is called Tutti Fruitti where all the colors are like that.  I am not sure of the maker.....maybe ??  Avem may have make it......that is a mere Guess????

The label 'Geniune Venetian Glass' is a generic label. I have it on about a dozen pieces. Interestingly the other label looks like a stock label. As to maker, it could have been anyone. Is a lovely bowl though, one of the nicer looking ones I have seen (i don't own any of these though).

Hi

You are right with the pattern name.  The most likely maker for this would be AVEM around 1950 to 1960 but it could also be another firm utilising the same techniques.
