Loetz - Bronce Glatt decor? Or something else?
« on: April 20, 2011, 02:31:45 AM »
Hi. Looking to ID this vase, some glass associates thought maybe Loetz -Bronce Glatt decor, others don't think so. It stands 8 1/4" tall.  Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I'd look at Gralglashütte...

What kind of photos might help better ID this piece? Thanks for your input.

I would like to see images in natural light in front of a solid white (or close) background.  Same angles as shown here....  With your permission I can also copy and show them to a research group I am involved with for opinions....

I can also look in the Loetz Musterschnitte, a catalog of some shapes and see if the form is there....  It only contains around 10% of their forms though so it is just a shot at finding it....

Hi Patti, Second row down, second piece in is the same exact piece as yours......  It is Bronce Glatt for sure...

That being said I will see if the shape is identified in the Loetz drawings.....
