VINTAGE PAPERWEIGHT! HELP!

Hey all.  I am  new to this whole collecting paperweights...  I found this one at a yard sale for .50 I dont know anything about it accept for the tag on the inside that says A.  Ribatego/  Portugal .  Anyone know what this is or what it may be worth??  thanks!! :smg:

Are you sure it's glass and not clear resin/lucite (ie same as plexiglass)?

In that case, it's not glass. Resin paperweights have been very common Mediterranean souvenirs for the last 40/50 years. Ribatejo is a place in Portugal.
