How nice!  I love the fazzoletto vases.  I have a small one myself and just adore it.  Nice find.   :hiclp:

P.S. - Your lucky to find one with the acid signature that is clear to read.  Mine has to hit a certain light to be able to read the acid signature (hard to photograph).  Some do not have the acid signatures or at least so I hear.

Hi

Great Fazzoletto vase which was the mainstay of popular items made in Venice in the mid 20th century.  Great look, classic styling and an item certainly to treasure.

Ciao

Thanks Dean

I used to work in Milan so I was close to the Venini shop and plenty of dealers - I actually bought this in the North of England however, in a dedicated glass dealers.

While in Milan I bought many exclusive books on Murano Glass (20s to 80s) and Versace Venini pieces from the Venini shop as well as a fair few pieces of Morreti, A.V.e.M, Nason and Seguso which I love.

I just love Murano glass

Hi again, Adam.  I was just reading your last post and was just curious as to which Moretti you are speaking of.  Carlo, Franco, Ercole, etc.?  Just curious as I am a Franco Moretti collector, but I love Ercole Moretti and also Carlo Moretti as well.  So many Moretti's to keep with.

Hi Tam

Mostly Carlo Moretti - I have some older pieces bought from dealers, but in the 00s I bought new pieces that I still have boxed from shops around the Milan area - I posted two on GMB not long ago.

Posted here, which I think you replied to Tam
