Looking through the old postings I see that Avondale's come up before.

From their website:
The business was established in 1976 by Vicenzo Speranza, who worked in the great glass houses of Italy from the age of 10 as well as in Germany, Switzerland, France, Sweden and Malta, before settling in the UK at Wedgwood Glass (now Caithness) and finally setting up his own glass making workshop here in Kilgetty.

I went on a two day glass blowing course their year ago when Vicenzo was still there - good fun - must do it again some time.
