Webb vase? ID request
« on: May 01, 2011, 01:47:22 PM »
When I bought this yesterday my 1st thought were Whitefriars, but, having spent last night searching through endless whitefriars I finally found some info on the wave pattern, which then led me to think that this maybe by Webb, the wave pattern is square shape when viewed from above where as Whitefriars would five sides (I think) could anyone confirm this or shed anymore info.

Thanks, Robert.

I agree with Keith, Robert. I have glasses with this squared off effect which are Webb but again unmarked. In fact a lot of Webb seems to be unmarked! No idea if that was a cost-saving thing, seconds, or because the retailer wanted them unmarked...  but unmarked they are!
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Whitefriars commonly gives a six-sided (hexagonal) effect.
