David, the azure Vizner vase IS spectacular!

When I have time to take pics end of the week I will show you a quite spectacular Skrdlovice piece as well :)

I had time to take pics...

Early Vladimir Jelinek ashtray, PN 6056.
One of those ranges from the 1960s you almost never see anywhere, so on the rare side I guess (and beautiful, too) -- I am very happy :)

Michael, once again a lovely and rare piece.  Can I hire you as a picker?  (In North America pickers are people who go round garage sales buying stuff, which they sell on).

Great eye and memory, once again.

Thanks for the nice comments, Anik and David!
IMHO one of my "best" Skrdlovice pieces so far...
Sorry David, selling on doesn't seem to be a thing I am able to do :pb:

Before your hearts start to bleed over what a poor gal I am with my small Skrdlovice collection, I did get a few more items, including these vases.  The first is what I think is the 5988 in a really wonderful dark green and purple.  It's 25cm tall.  The second is the 5551 by Rudolf Beranek.  What makes it especially exciting -- at least for me -- is the "II" marked on the base.  It's 20,5 cm tall and weighs 2357g.  A good, heavy piece.

Two very nice additions, Anik. I like Rudolf's designs from the 50's very much.

Michael, you are not alone.

Here's my latest Vizner, 14 cm tall and very substantial.

Nice pieces Anik, the Jan Beranek in unusual striking colours! That Vizner is excellent too David, one of my favourite designs of his. I understand from Jindrich that Mr Vizner quite liked this design, when they did the Bruntal exhibition together I understand that Mr Vizner helped select the display pieces and this was one of the patterns he chose to display. I like it, it is very uncompromising and heavy for its height, it really dominates a space as the wide base spreads the colour.....

Thanks, Robert. That information makes the piece very special.

Wow, so much nice Skrdlovice...

Anik, the colours in both vases are phantastic! I have the "II" mark on this Stahlikova vase
David, great Vizner piece.

I should be very  -- but because of my new Jelinek piece I am not :usd:
