Michael!   (http://serve.mysmiley.net/confused/confused0067.gif)  Now how much goodness can one person find???  Apart from my drooling, I'm starting to itch with horrendous jealousy.  I do love your Galaxy ashtray... Congratulations!

This morning, my Skrdlovice collection grew by one as well, though I still can't decide who's the designer or what's the pattern number.  It's a slightly oblong plate with a light pink base and light blue body.  There are two 'knobs' on the underside and two swirls... the plate is rather small at 27cm at its widest, but weighs quite a bit: 1316g.   :)

Thanks, Anik!
Don't you think my Mstisov multicolour bowl is quite an unusual piece of Czech glass? -- I love it!

And congratuations as well -- what a beautiful plate!
I think I will give up searching for pattern nrs. for those early hotworked pieces...

And don't be too jealous ;D -- it costs me lots of time and effort to hunt for my glass on the fleamarkets here; often I go home after an hour without having found a single piece -- or even worse: I buy something I don't really want out of frustration ;) (but I have to admit -- it's great fun, too!)

But Michael, I also spend a tremendous amount of time and effort searching for my glass...  I'm simply not as lucky. (http://serve.mysmiley.net/sad/sad0043.gif)

Anik, you are lucky -- such a great collection!
I would love to find a Wiedmann piece once -- but that kind of glass doesn't seem to come my way here.
And how envious I was when you found you Matura head vase...

Still I have to admit -- the last 3 days have been very successful :)

With my warmest thanks to Robert, I can now confirm that my newest addition is a Jan Beranek design from 1951.  ;D

And one more for my slowly-growing Skrdlovice collection...  a splendid topaz and green ashtray with three pulled lobes to the top underside, designed by Rudolf Beranek, pattern number 5464.  It's about 18cm wide, 9cm tall and weighs 1432g.

Yay for me!  ;D

Well, Anik, your collection is not so slowly-growing after all :rah:

Mine neither ;D: Palecek vase with soda bubbles, PN 7420/16 (my very first glass purchase via ebay)

Oh wow...    I would gladly have that vase in my collection, Michael.  A super-YAY for you!
(Stupid question:  Shouldn't the 7420 have some blue/azure in it?  Is an all clear one rarer?)

A very good question, Anik, I wondered about the colour issue myself.

I noticed when I looked for this range in the pattern books, that it should come in blue; but the few I have seen so far all were clear: one in the Pardubice exhibition, tall one in a recent thread (this exact vase is currently available on ebay at a - well - high :o prize), and the ones on the latest Beranek glassworks website.

So I would think blue is on the rare side...

Ahhh... I have read that thread and have been through the "Magic of Glass" photos more than a few times...  unfortunately I've got a short-term memory.  :-[
