Oh Michael... and once again I'm horrendously jealous. :)   What a super addition!!!  Did you get it for a ridiculously low price?

My congratulations!   :rah: :rah:

Thanks Anik!
Price was not ridiculously low, but at Euro 15,- I didn't have to think twice :)

My 16th Skrdlovice piece... a blue Jaroslav Svoboda 7302/18 vase.

When I placed a bid on it (on Aukro), I thought it was nice - no big wow factor, but a good piece to have in my collection.  It was only when I got it in the mail today and held it, did I think "OH WOW!" followed by a whole series of verbalized ooooooohhhhhh's and aaaaaahhhhhh's.  It's by far my favourite piece to date.  I love its heaviness, clean lines and internal well which looks amazing when held up to the light.  Photographs really do not do it any justice.

Now if I could only find a green one like Michael's here;D

Great addition, Anik!
I do like this design a lot, especially my unusual green version (but wouldn't mind finding a blue one as well, one day :))

And two more:

Jan Juda vase, and another Svobodava ashtray in a nice clear and blue colourway (complete with my first red Skrdlovice label)

The ashtray is fantastic, Michael.    On Jindrich's "Československé sklo" DVD, there's one in a wonderful shade of purplish-pink.

I am so jealous of all the pieces on this thread.  It's a fantastic database and there are some wonderful pieces.  I never find anything remotely like this around here

I'm also jealous, only because most of them aren't mine.  :usd:  :hi:
