Thanks, Robert and Anik!
Judging from the colours (which don't look very modern to me) I would also think 1970s for the vase; and I would guess that the pieces chosen for the Bruntal exhibition were rather Skrdlovice than Beranek production.
Looking at the Beranek website it seems that recently this range was only produced in the 6 cm version and in stronger colours...

And unfortunately this was not a 5 Euro purchase (my Venini vase was ;D); it cost me 60 Euro, which is still a fair prize I think.

I thought that this colourway for this particular design hinted at newer production...  :(

Just for the sake of clarity... I wasn't suggesting the Vizner is newer.  Rather, I was eluding to my ignorance regarding Skrdlovice production and colourways.  Sorry for not being clearer about it.

Michael, though 60 euros is not 6 euros, I still think you got it for a great price!  Lucky guy.

Anik  :-*, I understood what you were meaning to say...
But no need to think you are ignorant in any way, I am only estimating here as well.

It's just my gut feeling that this colour combination is not so recent.

Grown by one again.

My friend called me last week from Basel fleamarket if I was interested in a blue vase with Skrdlovice label -- I was :)
Arrived yesterday, and it is really nice.

I think it is PN 54181 by Jaroslav Beranek, although the size in the pattern book is 22 cm -- mine is 27 cm high; same as another one in a different colourway I saw a few months ago at the fleamarket...

A really lovely, unfussy design.  A good addition, Michael.

Thanks Anik!
Unfortunately my pic is not very good, doesn't capture shape and colours very well...

Great acquisition, Michael. It's a very good design, so sinuous and fluid. The colours in yours are quite spectacular.

I did manage to get a fairly good Vizner piece, 17.5cm tall in two colours.  Judging from the wear on the base, I'm certain it's an older piece.

Wow, this is another lovely colourway, David!
Would look good beside my orange one :D

And if the pics on the Beranek website are a hint, I would think that pieces with more than one colour around the core were not produced recently...

Beautiful, David.  One will also be coming my way, but with opposite colouring.
