Bohemian or what else?

I've had this miniature for almost 10 years, but have never been able to pin a firm attribution on it. I've called it Bohemian, but have no others with the same canes. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hi Allan
I'm fairly certain that it is French: a St Mandé paperweight. The canes and design look right for them.
