Is this a large vintage Chinese Paperweight
« on: May 11, 2011, 07:47:21 PM »
Large paperweight, I thought maybe 1920/30's Chinese but that is only a guess.

Looks to have quite a  lot of wear. Seems to be what looks like a rabbit under the flower.

Weight a heavy 1168 gm, diameter 4" /10cm , height approx 2.75". Outer base rim with a concaved base

Thanks for any help Roy

Hi Roy

Agree with Leni - I also have one! I think these are much later than 1920/30 though
 - more like 1960's. Most chinese are flat ground of this era are flat ground to a matt
finish but mine like yours is hollow ground.

Best regards

Derek
