Hello Tom,
correct attribution of your hand cut, lidded powder bowl is the Kristallglas GmbH at Oberursel and the Design was created by "Franz Burkert" (1904-1968), who got quite famous for his ageless geometric design during the 50s and 60s. The bowls where still produced in the mid-80s. Hessenglas was only delivering the raw-material; the moulds/Forms were owned by Kristallglas GmbH.

Oliver, thanks for the link which shows such beautiful pieces  :hiclp:  Unfortunately, I've just got my lidded pot out to compare and it is a different cut shape.  So I may have to look elsewhere again.
Many thanks
m

I'm on my way out of the house shortly, but tomorrow I'll split this thread into two if that's okay. It gets confusing when two completely different pieces are being discussed in the one thread.
