One for the WF experts
« on: May 19, 2011, 01:53:14 PM »
I have what I have identified to be a Whitefriars #9772 vase in what I believe is an Amethyst colour.  The problem I have is that the catalogues do not mention Amethyst.  Can someone clarify why that might be so.

I bamle all snileplg eorrrs on the Cpomuter Kyes.  They confuse my fingers !!!

Thanks Emmi - I can wear Aubergine (or eat Brinjal - which we often do - mty wife being Anglo-Indian).

Is this shape what call "Cucumber" pinky.  I just got it because the colour was so stunning.

The Cucumber vase in Aubergine IS a catalogued item as is the lobed vase which was the first topic in this thread. The link above shows the lobed vase in the catalogue!

And this is the Cucumber vase in the catalogue.

I was merely correcting  your "assumption" and mis-information that both the lobed vase and Cucumber vase in Aubergine were not catalogued when clearly they are.
