This is an interesting piece... listed as a possible sampler? But is it? And why two Reg Design nos?

Anne
You will find details of this in Jenny Thompson, The Identification of English Pressed Glass 1842-1908 ISBN 0 9515491 0 3

Page 12 and 13 Greener,  there should be three numbers.

Reg No96775 27 March 1888 Rustic handle Reg No95935 16 Mach 1888 Glass pattern and 98551 21 April 1888, I have read (not sure where ) that this was a trade sample to show what Greener made.

Thanks Tony, that is interesting. I don't have the Thompson book yet, so wasn't aware of this item. It struck me as unusual when I saw the sale listed  for it.

I just happened to find an example of RD no 98551 today, but it's not the plate or the basket I've seen on other sites or on eBay, but this is a footed bowl. I'm adding pics here for reference in case it's useful to anyone.  8)
