Yellow and Gold Birds (Barovier, Seguso or what?)
« on: May 28, 2011, 12:02:42 AM »
These large birds are very pretty, not a color commonly seen. The technique is unusual in my experience.  The gold appears to have been applied "hot" to the exterior.  Archimede Seguso pieces I've seen have the gold inside the glass itself.  I'm fairly confident these are older, circa 1950s (or older?) Murano pieces.  Any info as to maker would be greatly appreciated.

Charles.
