Millefiori Inkwell
« on: May 26, 2011, 10:05:25 PM »
I have found what I believe to be an inkwell.  The inkwell is a millefiori design and is signed on the bottom.  The rim of the paperweight is sterling silver.  I got this item at an estate sale in North Carolina, United States.  I have the item listed on ebay with several pics.  For some reason I cannot upload the pictures here.  Any help would be appreciated. ebay item # 110693425833

Hi philo407,

I have deleted your initial post as it was a part duplicate of your second post and I have split out your main post from the other Inkwell thread in the Paperweights forum because:
a) adding an ID or Info request to an existing post can cause confusion
b) a post relating to an item that is currently for sale should be placed in the Market Place forum

I have also converted your "eBay item ..." wording to a link to your eBay listing.

How were you trying to add pics to the Board posting? What problem did you have?
If you have not already reviewed them, the main Guidelines for uploading pics to a post can be seen in this link.

Signature reads "Timothy Harris IOW England".  Timothy was is the son of Michael who stated Isle of Wight Glass.  No idea of the pattern name but there are others who specialise in IOW will be able to help.
