Sandwich or Webb Fireglow?
« on: February 03, 2006, 03:09:49 AM »
Hi. I am in need of some assistance trying to ID these brown opaque decorated tumblers. I cannot find anyone but either Sandwich or Webb that made this beige shade, however I've been informed that Webb's are always satin finished. Does anyone know of another manufacturer who made blown beige/brown opalescent type tumblers? Thanks, Ken

Hi

This old auction link will take you to Webb Burmese vases, Fireglow, Sandwich glass in the satin finish you talk about and many other likely candidates - about 1000 items so good luck

Thanks Adam. Unfortunately the link starts at lot #300 & no fireglow appears. It may be that Fireglow is in lots 1 to 299.  Ken

Just thought I'd post to say that these have been positively attributed as Webb by a Tumbler Reference author.
