Kosta Boda art vase, B Vallien, any help appreciated.

Hi all,

I recently bought this vase and was wondering if anyone could help with an idea of date or range this vase might be from. Its marked and signed and has a set of numbers 40132 or 40/30. The vase is roughly 9.5" tall and has a rough orange sand like substance applied to the top of the neck. I have googled images and Bertil Vallien with no luck.

a quick image search gives me 37,900 hits - that should keep you busy for a while!  :smg:

Ivo, Brilliant, cheers!!! I have the 37,900 hits also, BUT, how do I view them all, I can view 28 pages of images and thats it, I cant seem to be able to view the other 39 600 images. In my defence I am computer dumb :thup:

Check the websites these images were found on for further info. Be bold - try to google!

The numbers  are a code. 4 = vase; 01 = the year of design (2001); and 32 is the production number for the year, I don't know the line, and my Kosta catalogues are packed away right now. I'll have a look on the weekend if you haven't found out by then.

Hi the series is called Spirit and yes, first produced in 2001, your serial number is 40132.
