HELP: identification needed please

does anyone have any idea what this piece of glass is? Not even specifically, just its style would be very helpful. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I don't know, but I would also love to know as I have several bud vases with this type of base.  They do look similar to Aseda but their bases were solid not hollow.
