No-one likes general adverts, and ours hadn't been updated for ages, so we're having a clear-out and a change round to make the new ones useful to you. These new adverts bring in a small amount to help pay for the board and keep it free for you to use, so please do use them whenever you can, Let our links help you find great books on glass or a new piece for your collection. Thank you for supporting the Board.

Having the right books is a great aid in identifying glass.

A quick check in Ivo's book (Miller's Glass Fact File)says that the factory is in Nuutajarvi and operated by Arabia (50's to 90's).

If you like Finnish glass, you might also like this auction site, I'm sure there's a search facility somewhere.

I think though that in order to register to be able to bid you need to have a finnish bank account - or at least I've never quite succeeded - but at least the pictures are nice !

It was one of the works of Nuutajärvi which passed into Iittala in 1990 - check here for a breathtaking website on finnish glass.
