murano pear nut dish/bowl

i think that it's the best bit i picked up today, it measures 8.5" from top to bottom, cranberry colour cased in clear with gold leaf in the stem and leaf, any idea who made /designed it?

here we go, i belive that this bowl is in Barbini colours, i think you call it amethyst sommerso in clear cristallo as on page 96 of Leslie pina 50's glass 2nd edt
