probably destined to be another unknown bowl - but looks good, although when flicked absolutely no ring - so am thinking soda glass and without any lead content - is that right?
Good quality ground/polished pontil - and more citrine (with a hint of lemon) than gold/amber, perhaps.     Diameter is 10"/255mm.    Still has some of the trifle stuck around the edges I think, and I've hunted but no sign of a mark -  quite a lot of age related wear on those parts of the lobes on which it rests.    Do let me know if anyone has any ideas, and thanks for looking. :)

Your bowl is Duncan Miller from the US, in the canterbury pattern. I love their citrine color!

Janice, you have made my day/week/month  -  I honestly thought this was destined to be yet another unknown piece.  thanks very much indeed, and I agree with you, this citrine is a gorgeous colour.    Since I don't collect States material (I was hoping secretly this might have been a U.K. Whitefriars/Webb/whatever piece), then think this should return back over the pond for the cost of postage only - if you are interested.    Let me know, and thanks again. :)

Did you check it with your UV light?

would I ever not, in view of that sort of colour, I dashed immediately for the torch when I got home  -  only to be very disappointed.      Rather misleadingly, this almost lemony citrine - in sunlight - makes you think you are picking up the u., even without the torch  -  it's almost a little akin to Webb's Sunshine Amber.   But I do promise you, not even the hint of a glow.
