Riki, that's a very nice Salvador Ysart butterfly.

Is the butterfly set directly onto the "purple" ground, or is it floating above it? And what is the size (diameter and height) of the weight?

Hi Kev,
Thanks for the identification, It's always nice to have a positive I.D.  :D

The butterfly sits on top of the mottled purle ground and the weight is 3 1/4 inch (83mm) wide x 2 inch (50mm) high and has a gound pontil, it is one of my better  "keeping it for the collection" finds, :twisted:
