Libochovice waves and seagulls bowl

This 10" bowl is pressed, and not finely finished.  Any thoughts about the maker?  Thanks for looking.

Libochovice waves and seagulls bowl
« Reply #1 on: July 10, 2011, 05:31:57 PM »
Hi everyone
I have finally got my hands on this Libochovice bowl with waves and seagulls. It is part frosted glass and part polished to give a lovely 3D effect.
It appears in the Libochovice catalogues on the same page as the 2 flower frog ladies so I am wondering if they match up with this bowl. The frog the lady fits into has a rock formation and wondered if it followed the theme of the water on the bowl?
Any ideas would be great input!
Thanks in advance
Nige

I've merged uphoosier's topic with oyemicanto's as they relate to the same bowl.

Hi
Yes this is the same bowl as I bought it from Uphoosier recently.
I have stood this unidentified lady flower fog in the bowl for now until I get my hands on one of the other ladies in plain frosted glass.
I thought she was quite a good match for the bowl.
I would love this bowl in amber or green! Don't want much do I?
Thanks Anne for merging the topics together makes it better reading.

your glass is absolutely fabulous  :hiclp: but do you have enormous amounts of space to display bowls?  I've only got four large bowls and they have to take it in turns to be displayed as they take up so much room.
