Unusual Bark Glass Pitcher Vase-Ravenhead? Ingrid?
« on: June 19, 2011, 04:18:20 PM »
Hi.  I found this pitcher/vase with a polished rim.  It measures 8.75" inches tall.  Just wondering if anyone has come across one like this before.  Thanks for your help.  Hopefully.

I think this may be a Whitefriars piece.

No, I don't believe so.  Is there a way to tell?  It doesn't have the heft that leaded pieces have.

I may well be stating the obvious but that has never stopped me before..... Perhaps the best way to get an id is to compare the texture of your carafe with other bark like textures, a good close up photo of the texture can be useful.

Thank you for your replies.  I thought perhaps the design of the piece would be sufficient. It's pretty distinctive.  Nonetheless, I appreciate the input.
