CLOVER SHAPED GLASS

I am hoping that someone might help me identify my glass by description. I have a drinking glass that is approximately 5 1/5" high and is in the shape of a clover- though the four "petals" are sort of squared-off.  It is opalescent glass with two gold stripes along the rim. I believe it is 19th C though unsure. Any advise is much appreciated. If you'd like to e-mail an address I can send a photo. benebarker@aol.com

It came from an estate where all the other dinner service & porcelains were 19th C.  I am still unsure though.

Is it definitely two gold lines or could it be that there was one gold line that has rubbed away over time?

where was the estate? country? Do you know where the dinner services came from? might have a bearing

There is definately two seperate gold lines (one is thicker than the other) and the glasses came from an adirondack estate where much of the dinner service was French 19th C though I dont recall specific names- I do remember the auctioneer reffering to almost all of the porcelain as 19th C. Thanks again!

I am not an expert on this type of glass, but I think they are probably French. Could be nineteenth century. Difficult from photo.Might be Baccarat. But having stuck my neck out when others are silent, will I end up regretting this? :D

I agree with Adam - it is certainly very elegant dinnerware, and quite possibly Baccarat or Saint Louis. If it is, the people ar the Musée Baccarat in Paris should be able to tell you when it was in production.
