Fascinating site. First time I have heard of "check" as a glassworking term (always plenty of new things to learn) and "paper marver", too!

For info, although the site is American, the canes (murrine) shown in the Glossary section are Italian, from Moretti and are the type that have been available worldwide for some time.

Ok - I'll shut up now, otherwise this will become a review of some sort!
