Murano Candle Holder or Votive - in clear spiralled glass ending in flower head.

Labelled Vetro Eseguito - Secondo Latecnica Dei Maestri Di Murano.

Quite new I feel.

It is one of those tricky labels that loosely means it is elegant glass made using the techniques of the Murano masters. It isn't acually made in Murano. Don't you like the way the "Murano" is written in such large letters? An apparent attempt to deceive.

This is a tricky sticker.
There are so many...

"Made with Murano glass" for example means that the glasswork was made using that specific quality of glass (soft glass), but it doesn't say where it was made.

"Murano Style"

"Murano master"

It might be a good idea to create a file for the NON Murano labels to help people sort the wheat from the chaff?

Just as an extra, these are table ornaments not candle holders. A lot of these were made by Portieux/ Valérysthal - but obviously also in Italy (Altare, Parma, Empoli or Napoli). A drawn out thread of glass is wound around a pontil rod, then a flower shape is pulled at the end. So much for "techniques from the old masters"....
