Edinburgh Crystal Vase
« on: August 04, 2011, 01:08:29 PM »
Heavy cut crystal vase of trumpet (fluted) form - 12.5" high, so large - etched to base - hard to see and photo but mark is there - see photo.

What period is this - it feels deco?

I can't read the mark, what do you read? Try rubbing talc or a soft pencil to bring out the detail. It is probably the 1955+ mark, see here but the piece could be an older pattern.
