What is it for - Ravenhead Flair
« on: August 10, 2011, 10:57:35 AM »
Very curious to know if anybody knows anything about this funny little bowl.   It measures about 6" across.  I can imagine it with prawns hanging off the sides and a prawny sauce in the middle.   Perhaps my imagination is a little far fetched.   Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Just wondering if it could be for holding cigarettes, with an ashtray in the middle, kinda like this:

Hi, that could be a possibility.  Thanks for the suggestion.   More likely that than my guess I think.  Best wishes, Kerry.

Ravenhead Flair I think. Do a search on the board.

I have one.  I was told they were meant to keep something warm - you put a tea light in the middle and balance your bowl or plate on the top.  I've never tried it, though.

I don't think these ones were, were they? The warmers are much more substantial with flat tops

Hi, thanks for all the responses.   It is definitely Ravehead Flair, similar posts on here but also one on Ebay which is boxed and identical.   Just labelled as Flair Bowl on the box so I am thinking the design is more for show than for an actual purpose.   Very satisfied.   Cheers!
