Who is 'Franco'?
« on: February 16, 2006, 08:42:40 PM »
I have just acquired this Snow Scene weight by Ferro & Lazzarini  :D http://tinypic.com/view/?pic=nx6t0i

Here is a picture of the label on the base http://tinypic.com/view/?pic=nx6trc and there is also an inscribed signature, which I read as 'Franco' http://tinypic.com/view/?pic=nx6vrr

So; can anyone tell me who 'Franco' is /was?     :?

the thing about Franco in Italy is the smith or green over here, very nice weight , it's good how they used the canes for the snow covered trees and fence
cheers Ray

I believe a 'Maestro' named Francesco Ragazzi works at Ferro & Lazzarini.  Would he sign himself as 'Franco', do you think?  :?
