Sklo Union ashtray, is it Rudolfova Hut, help please

Hi All,

This wee ashtray I was given yesterday. I'm sure its a piece of Sklo Union glass, the colour is the same as a couple of bits of Sklo I already own that have been ID as Rudolfova Hut bits. Is this wee ashtray also by them and is there a designer who has been attributed to it. I don't have ' The Book ' yet ( Marcus Newhall, Sklo Union ) but Christmas is coming up soon!

Hi David...  this was designed by Jiri Brabec.  I have a vase, though I had no idea he had also designed a matching ashtray. (Neither are in the Sklo Union book, unfortunately).  Great find.

Hopefully Jindrich will be able to give us some more details.  For now, here is a link to Jindrich's site, with a whole selection of Brabec pressed designs:
