Your carnival plate is an Indiana Glass egg tray and relatively modern.

I had one of those plates for a while - enjoyed it for a bit them gave it back to a charity shop after I discovered I'd not be able to retire on the proceeds of selling it.
But I thought it was an oyster plate?

(Michael went out to by me an easter egg one year. He came home with a mountain bike for himself instead. :thud: )

I decided to bring the Selkirk Ducks out of Hibernation for Easter, so here they are along with a small selection of Easter Related Ducks, Rabbits, a Chicken, a Ram and a new piece....a Seguso Nero & Rosso Squirrel.

Happy Easter to you all.

Thank-you, Ross - that vase was one of the occassions I just couldn't resist a bit of early American Studio Glass!
The "sea" bit at the base goes in very deep indeed - this simply does not show up in a photograph. There are three different moons around it, and it has the tiniest silly little hole at the top - you might manage to squeeze a single stem into it, but I honestly don't understand why anybody would want to.
Sergio - I believe Indiana Glass is an American company - but I don't know if it's in Indiana.

Rosie - so many ducks  :thud: - and not one of them wfs - well done!
(But you've turned us from easter into farmyard! :24: )

Lovely, lovely collection, Rosie  :hiclp:   :kissy:  Love those ducks and other animals!  I especially like the brown 'bunny'   He looks more like a hare than a rabbit to me - don't forget that the Easter (should be Oestre) 'bunny' :anb: was actually a hare!

And I love your 'oyster - egg' plate of eggs, Glas vasen!   Congratulations to your wife for such a lovely display!   :D

No, not Mc Donald,  I was a Jolly 'Miller'. Ross!!

If I was going to 'do' a farmyard,  I would have to include a load of others,  and so I tried to stick to Easter animals...... ;D'

I love the glass plate as well, and the choclate eggs on it!!

Sue yours are all so beautiful,  but I really like the 'egg' vase.  ;D

I wonder how many pieces of glass we have between us all...........Could we make a million do you think????? :sun:
