have you got any other pieces to show? Rosie.  :)

Hi Rosie - well we've got a website packed full of pieces to show - www.thistlewoods.net  We're working on putting a lot more (and bigger) images on the Galleries at the moment, but there's a lot of our glass on our website in all the articles and features.

Keeping with the swan theme, here's another Sowerby Carnival Swan (another of my favourites).

Maybe we should start a swan thread?? Or maybe just birds and animals? I've just discovered some other animals I have LOL including a uranium snake. All the birdies and animals deserve a look see  :anb:

As it sounds like you have a monumental collection, I think you should start off the animal post LOL And I'll post the couple that I have in your thread...maybe one at a time to stretch it out LOL

I think most have already been posted here over the years.......have a look at the 'show me yours part 1 and 2'!!

I usually show new ones as they arrive.

Must get off to bed now,  it is nearly half past one,  I have turned into a pumpkin!

You have some nice pieces there Keith....I like the Wedgwood pieces, especially the long tailed birdie....I have one of those by Langham, made and signed by Paul Miller when he left Wedgwood to start his own studio.  I think it is here on the board somewhere.
Just got a bird arrived today,  not sure of the maker, but got a green body with a blue blob in the centre....
I also won the Boffo Penguin tonight and one of Adam A's pieces I was hoping to win,  so that's 603 now!

I've just been outbid on an ellie and a doggie,  but there there, you can't win them all.
Anyway, I am a pumpkin again, and I have to be up early as we have had bad storms, and a tree is down in our garden, streching over into next door and the fence is down in the other neighbours, so we are helping with that!
