Medium sized axehead vase in red and yellow sommerso - any idea of company or date - no marks or label

Try looking in Galliano Ferro's site.  I have one somewhat similar but the "wings" are a little less pronounced (see photo) and I believe it is GF.

I agree.  Probably Galliano Ferro.  It looks like their style.
