Hello all!

Just returned from a successful trip to Goodwill on Haight Street.

This is a clear vase, feels modern and has a signature that try as I might I couldn't quite get a good picture of (even with powder in the engraving).

23.5cm tall and 17.5cm across the top at the widest point.

The sig. to my eye is something like "truli drah" or "trauti drob" then a sign for a number and then definitely 8604.

Any ideas?  :sun:

And, sorry, it's moulded.

Can you do a bigger pic of the signature? Close up shot of it - use the macro or super macro if you have either setting. And if you make your images bigger we can see more. You should be able to get to around 700px on the longest side and still stay under the file size limit for the board. If you can't get it to work for you, take a good close up and email me a copy at full size and I'll help resize it for you if needed.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Hi Anne

I load them onto Picasa and then export them to My Pictures,  I have to resize to 320 (the lowest) when I export as I've found they won't upload at all at anything higher than that.  I'm sure I don't have a macro setting.  Maybe I shouldn't crop them in Picasa before the export?  Or use something entirely different from Picasa?  I'll see what I can do after I've walked the doglet.

Many thanks!

Are these any better - full on flash at night seems to have captured more.

It does say Kosta Boda which is GOOD. Cannot read the number though - but you should be able to advise what it says.... and then move this item to Scandinavian glass, a friendly mod adds Kosta Boda to the title and there! you have a fair chance of identification!
