control bubble vase - ID = Glass Atelier Morava, CZ

this looks to me to be newish - not very stylish, good but not great quality ...

controlled bubbles are well spaced and form geometric pattern.

Any ideas?

It has a 'new' look to me too.  Maybe Polish?  Anyway, I think it's rather cool with the blue, bubble base.  I wouldn't mind a set of them.  :)

Edit:  Just realised you're calling this a vase...what size is it?  It looks like a drinking glass!

I am not a man

never changed the title of a thread before. Interesting to see the outcome.

Ok, I think I have finally tracked this one down. found this on ebay today and the controlled bubble and blue base are pretty spot on similar: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BOXED-6-tall-CZECH-ART-GLASS-beer-lager-TANKARD-/260947755765?pt=UK_Art_Glass&hash=item3cc1b2c2f5

the label on the box says Glass Atelier Morava:

Is this a positive attribution?

It looks like something from the same range, doesn't it? At least you found your way in. I've never known a website that made entry so obscure!

Can we say this is IDed?

btw changing the title doesn't do much!

You can only change the title on your current post; not the start of the thread

I'd agree with the Glass Atelier Morava attribution. Some of their stuff is really nice, even if they aren't very well known. My Bolena, bought at the now-closed Glass Forest Czech glass shop in Harrogate, is one of theirs.

Thanks Anne,
that's an unusual piece of glass I must say - and I don't want to offend bute looks like he's wearing a Holmegaard fruitbowl on his head  :usd:

Thanks for confirming the attribution. I like taking part even if the only pieces I can attribute are my own. Hopefully my waffle will one day help someone else  :pb:
