ZZG Huta Szkla "Tarnowiec" - polish lamp

I foud this interesting lamp on a german flea market...

Labeled : ZZG Huta Szkla "Tarnowiec" ... so it is made in Poland.
Height 60cm

I am searching for some information to this factory, date of production or the designer.

Hello Kevin,
Your lamp was produced post 1992...  'ZZG' -- the trade union for ironworks and smelters -- was registered in January 1992 and granted legal status in May of the same year.  So a rather new lamp, but a nice one at that. :)

I'm delighted to see Poland has finally been given its own forum.


I was very lucky to have picked up a couple of enormous Tarnowiec vases from TKMaxx, which I use as wastepaper bins. Here's an image of one of them. This one is used as the repository for the cardboard insides of toilet paper in my downstairs cludgie. Ther is an empty roll inside it, which gives you an idea of the size. ;)
