Me again,

I have looked and looked and can't find reference to or pictures of this bowl anywhere - does anyone have any clue as to its origins please? I'm inclined to think its Italian but not sure why....

The base is completely flat and seems to have been cut and polished - not sure if this is the case. Diameter is about 9'' - sits about 4'' high and weighs 1.5kg. It also reacts slightly to UV so must have manganese content I presume.

Thanks for your help, Charlene

Experience teaches that anyone who begins to collect in any field can feel a change in his soul. He becomes a joyful man filled with a deeper empathy, and a more open understanding moves his soul.
