Large porch lamp w/ cut glass panels...
« on: September 17, 2006, 07:09:55 PM »
Any clues as to country of origin and whether or not it's pre or post 1900? It has some nouveau styling, but feels a little restrained and formal - so possibly a touch earlier than the big flamboyant nouveau of post-1900?

It's a respectable 43cm tall, with a mix of brass and patinated copper. The glass is thick, frosted and is cut quite deeply.

No takers?

I bought it from the Netherlands, but suspect it might be German - even if I'm not sure why! :D
