I used to have a copy of this book (pretty sure I don't any more)

The inside flap of the dust jacket gave illustrations of their various marks and a guide to when they were used. And whoops - just spotted Frank refers to this book further up on this discussion topic

Having looked at the jacket, I think if there is no E&L then it's post 1955, when the name was changed to Edinburgh Crystal.
