See my GLASS EYE.....
« on: September 23, 2011, 07:47:43 PM »
 :24: :24: :24:     Like the Title.......      :24:     Fooled ya.....

Not a *real* glass eye -- but rather a PW from Glass Eye Studios ( GES ).  It is marked 95 on it.  Found it on the Net, and figured I would get it.  It is my first one.  It came with the box, and card too.  Very little wear on the bottom as it looks like it has spent all of the last 16 years in the box wrapped up.

I love it, and the colors!!

It is *EYE* candy for sure, from the Glass EYE Studio!!  :hiclp:

It is lovely Rose.

My daughter went to USA for 3 months a couple of years ago and brought me back a GES paperweight as a memento. It is the same shape as yours, but clear with a lovely internal swirl and shimmer. It is packed away at present but I think it said it has volcanic ash in it from Mt St Helen's volcano. An interesting thought !

Ahhh... that was Nice of her to do for Mom!!  :kissy:

Yes, I got the Box, and the card with this.

You are Right!!  Volcanic Ash from St. Helen Volcano.

I will attach pics here so that you do not have to *dig yours out* to read the card (since it is packed away).

Thanks Rose - yep, that's the stuff! Shimmers beautifully in the light.

I've been on a vase kick for the last few months. so paperweights are all packed away just now. Have been getting stirrings for change though - need to redo all four display cabinets shortly - so they will probably get a turn out of the box again soon!
