PLEASE tell me I am right in my assumed attribution!

Emmi, what a fabulous find!  Not only is the size and shape impressive, but I find the bubbles fascinating -- it makes me think a fish swam by just a second earlier.

Lucky lady!  I'm so glad Robert confirmed your hopes.  :rah:

A little question:  The clear-with-colour inclusions Jelinek 'object' in Mark Hill's Hi Sklo Lo Sklo is given pattern number 6524. I've also seen these objects with pattern number 6525. What is the difference between the two?

Thanks to you both Robert and Anik, I am very happy with this one, and to think I almost did not buy it because I thought it could have been a Chinese vase............I was so surprised to find it in a sleepy Sussex town here in the UK, I could hardly bring myself to think it was an original Czech vase.! Especially as I had not seen one in the flesh so to speak before! :hiclp: It certainly is a fabulous quality piece.

Oh, how I wish I did. :-\    But great idea... I'd love to see some of the different colours this piece comes in.

Wow - fantastic find, congratulations Emmi! Looks beautiful, just my cuppa cha!  :t:

For information's sake, is it far less common to find these 'vases' with bubbles in as the only ones I've ever seen have had various coloured blobs/streaks? Also your one sounds quite a bit bigger than ones I've seen too!

Thanks for that info - perhaps this is why there are no more photos added to this post as per my request! :help:

I don't know if it is 'far less common' to find one with bubbles, but they came in topaz, amethyst and blue according to Mark Hill's book and I have one in Amethyst.
