New buy - intersesting little paperweight - Murano
« on: October 04, 2011, 04:25:20 PM »
Just bought this - 2" diam, 1.5" high - very round with flat well polished base - very fine, neat work - red outer canes with white canes, green, white and yellow canes surrounding a six sided centre with flower canes. Deffinately Murano I feel but the finest one I have seen in some while.

What do others think?

I agree - Murano. We bought a fairly similar one with label in a grockle trap in the South of France (? piège à touriste) in about 1990.
