Hi there:

yes, sorry for not giving the size of the item.....yes, just about 7 inches tall.  You have an good eye there David!!  You are pretty sure this is Chance Glass since you stated "I was assured by Tony Cartwright that the 7-in tall models were not carried over from 1981, so this is almost certainly Chance."  So that is Great to hear

In the picture that David posted the group of 3 -- the bigger ones have more vertical pattern than the smaller ones?

Again, Sorry for not stating the size here -- but there are Good Eyes  8) here on the board.  Amazing what a person can tell from a picture, and a Picture IS worth a 1000 words....when one can tell by the folds the Size.

That amazing !!  :hiclp:   Thanks ever so Much everyone!!!

Not quite sure what you mean, but the width between the lines varies - actually the middle vase (5-in tall) is a more compact design, so appears to have more lines, but it's more convoluted than that. Because the overall design is created as a square, then I suspect the transfer used for the 5-in vase was adapted from the one used for the 7-in vase, if that makes sense. So I think that only two transfers were used; a large one, and a small one.

A little more explanation might help. When you "flatten" out the vase, the lines are not parallel. They are further apart at the outside edge and closer together in the middle. That and the fact that David thinks the "5-in" transfer is a cut-down 7-in transfer might explain what you see.
