Can anyone identify this tower please?
« on: March 01, 2010, 12:41:44 PM »
Picked up this amazing (I think) paperweight the other day, 16cms height and weight 1kg.  Just assumed it was the Eiffel Tower but of course when you look it isn't, does anyone know which tower it is.  Any information on maker of age of the paperweight would be much appreciated too.  Really clever the way the prism and reflections work.  Many thanks!

Perhaps it is made by Steinbach, look on the right hand side, at the bottom.. is there a miniscule engraving with the name? I know they made similar items at the start of the nineties. I had several, now all sold, but for one and my camera is flat, so no piccie at the moment, sorry.

Hi, thanks for your response, I've had a good look with an eyeglass but can't find a mark at all.

Ah well Gill, it was worth a shot! :)
I'm sure someone will come along who can ID it for you.
